As well as all the local scout huts and buildings across the county we are fortunate to have a number of other facilities to use.
These provide a variety of facilities from a basic camping base to full blown activities centers, this allows us to provide the widest range of outdoor and indoor activities possible.
Ratlingate Scout Camping Centre
Ratlingate Scout Camping Centre is owned and operated by Reivers District Scouts. With four acres of camping field and twenty acres of mixed woodland and pine plantation, Ratlingate provides an excellent base for outdoor activities. There is ample wood for open fires. campers have access to water at several standpipes around the site and have the use of the toilet block in the main building. Ashness Hut & Camp

Branthwaite Scout Campsite

Ennerdale Scout Centre
Ennerdale Scout Centre is owned and operated by Cumbria County Scout Council. It is a woodland campsite on the banks of the river Ehen close to the SouthWest shore of Ennerdale Water. Indoor accommodation is available in the form of “The Chalet” which sleeps 36 and “Bothy” which sleeps 12. Great Tower Scout Activity Centre
Great Tower Scout Activity Centre is owned and operated by The Scout Association. Close to the shore of Lake Windermere in the heart of the Lake District National Park, Great Tower Scout Activity Centre is an ideal base for exploring this famous area. South Lakeland Scout Base
South Lakeland Scout Base is the headquarters of the 1st Grange and Cartmel Scout Group. It provides simple indoor accommodation for groups of up to 40.
