Formation of the District

Duddon & High Furness Scout District was formed in the early ‘90’s by the amalgamation of two smaller Districts, though the Scout Groups in it go back much further than that. Currently, there are:- 5 Groups in the District, at Askam, Dalton (2), Ulverston and Grange & Cartmel. The Explorer Unit meets in Ulverston. Duddon & High Furness
